With the produce from the gardens, delicious meals were prepared in the castle for centuries. The medicinal herbs also provided a home pharmacy. With the dye herbs, yarn, wool and fabrics could be colored naturally. <\/p>\n

The Kruidhof was also a meeting place. The residents of the castle received important guests here. The austere garden layout, the hedges and trees trimmed in special shapes and the rare plant species impressed many a visitor. <\/p>\n <\/div>\n \n <\/div>\n\n <\/div>\n\n <\/div>\n<\/section>\n
