About Muiderslot
Bold, rebellious, open-minded and active. That’s what Muiderslot is. Built in 1285 and a national museum since 1878. With a rich past and a view to the future. As an enterprising museum, we earn 70% of our own income; the remaining 30% comes from subsidies from the Ministry of Education, Culture and Science. Thanks to entrance, store, catering, rental and the support of funds, sponsors and partners, we are able to realize special projects. We are grateful for that.
