Would you like to visit the Muiderslot for an article, interview or recording? Great! Journalists from the written press, radio, television and (press) photographers can gain free access after prior notification and permission from the Marketing & Communications Department.

Therefore, always request your visit in advance. We will contact you within a few working days. You are welcome as soon as you receive confirmation from us. Please note that staff at the box office cannot accept press cards, business cards or media passes for free admission.

Conditions of press visit

• Press visits take place during regular business hours (10 a.m.-5 p.m.) unless otherwise arranged.
• The request has a clear relationship to the Muiderslot, the environment, the collection or the expertise of our staff.
• Sign up at least one week in advance.
• Please bring valid identification with you when you visit.
• The general terms and conditions for visitors apply.
• The Marketing & Communications Department may refuse a press request, for example, in cases of: politically related items or productions in which the Muiderslot serves solely as a backdrop.
