Castle Workshop Classes at Muiderslot

Are you creative, curious, and do you live near Muiderslot Castle? Then the Castle Club might be just the thing for you! For kids ages 7 to 12 who love a little adventure, getting their hands dirty, and having lots of fun.

Doors open at 3:00 p.m. (right after school); class starts at 3:30 p.m. and ends at 5:00 p.m.

Create Your Own Artwork

During the art classes, children work on their own artworks in and around Muiderslot Castle. In the Castle Studio and the castle gardens, they tackle inspiring projects that tie in with the castle, the collection, and the natural surroundings.

We experiment with various materials and techniques, such as painting, drawing, printmaking, and textiles. Each child works in his or her own way and creates something that truly suits him or her.

Discover, Create, and Grow

Our experienced art teachers guide the children step by step. They take them on a tour of the castle and the gardens, which serve as inspiration for their own work, and encourage them to try new things.

The lessons form a series, giving children time to grow, develop new skills, and take pride in what they create. We conclude the series with a presentation of the artworks.
