Family show: The Special Bear
On February 1, the moving and musical family performance The Special Bear can be seen. In this performance, cellist Marieke takes her young audience on a warm and colorful adventure in which music, fantasy and emotion go hand in hand.

Every first Sunday of the month there is a theater performance for children in the castle chapel of the Muiderslot.
She plays, sings and moves with the children, who are allowed to sit so close to the cello that they can even touch the instrument.
The story is about Bear, who is made without arms due to a mistake in the factory. That makes him different and special. But while Bear believes in himself, no one seems to want him as a hug, simply because he doesn’t look like the other bears. What follows is a loving story about being different, friendship, daring to be yourself and belonging.
The performance is based on the beautiful picture book The Special Bear by Tjibbe Veldkamp and Marijke ten Cate.
Children can bring their own stuffed animal to experience this special story together with Bear.
