Everything you see is handmade: from puppets and costumes to props, all in a medieval atmosphere.

Bombastix
Ancient tales, monsters, and magic have left their mark on Muiderslot. Professor Bombastix, the super detective, is going to … uh … track down those clues. Or rather, all the kids are going to do that. Because the professor is busy dusting off the castle’s centuries-old magic potion machine. In the past, the castle’s inhabitants used it to make themselves invisible, become invincible, or fly on a witch’s broom. And the professor and the children are going to try that again. But first, they’ll have to track down those clues, because they’re needed to start up the machine…
- From 11:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
- Scattered throughout the grounds
Knight Florence and the Dragon!
Join us for an interactive, theatrical parade full of adventure! Knight Florence arrives on horseback, accompanied by her colorful and friendly pet dragon. But there’s a problem at the castle… A wicked wizard has cast a spell on everyone and frozen them in place. It’s time for action! Together with the children, the dragon is built and decorated, under the guidance of Knight Florence and a chivalrous drummer. Then, to the sound of loud drumming and whistling, the procession winds its way across the grounds to break the spell and free the frozen people.
A playful and captivating parade in which you become part of the story.
- From 11:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
- In the Castle Studio and the grounds surrounding the castle

Help Build the LEGO Castle
Muiderslot Castle has stood here for over seven hundred years. Over that time, the castle has been rebuilt, renovated, and expanded many times: from a military fortress to a luxurious residence and, finally, the museum it is today. During your visit, you’ll discover traces of 700 years of construction everywhere. And… the master builder could use some help! He once started building the castle but ran out of time. Who will help him finish the job? And while you’re at it, why not design the Muiderslot’s gardens too!
- From 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
- In the small Castle Studio
