Seeing Off Sinterklaas

On Sunday, December 6, we’ll bid farewell to Sinterklaas during a festive light parade! Starting at 5:00 p.m., the Muiderslot grounds will be open to the public free of charge. We’ll gather at the Slotplein and wait there for Sinterklaas. At 5:15 p.m., Sinterklaas will say goodbye to all the children on the Slotplein. Afterward, we’ll accompany him and his helpers in a festive light parade to his boat. The parade will last about 15 minutes. From the pier, we’ll all wave him off as he heads back to Spain!
