A creative program full of history, language, and imagination.

What happens when a tower is no longer a tower, but a giant watching over the water? The love of language and imagination of writer and poet P.C. Hooft, who lived at Muiderslot Castle, serves as the starting point for this program. Through playful and interactive activities, students are challenged to look closely, listen carefully, and use their imagination. In the Castle Workshop, students write their own poems, inspired by what they have seen, heard, and experienced in the castle.

Special education groups are warmly welcome at Muiderslot Castle. We are happy to accommodate the specific needs of students. For this reason, a class is automatically divided into two groups, each with its own museum docent.
