Opening hours
- Winter (1 November to 31 March): open Tuesday to Sunday from 10.00 am to 5.00 pm
- Summer (1 April to 31 October): open Monday to Sunday from 10.00 am to 5.00 pm
- Muiderslot Castle is open on all public holidays and during all school holidays (Northern region). Open from 12:00 on 1 January!

Admission includes free audio tour
Explore Muiderslot Castle at your own pace with our free audio tour. There are several audio tours available in Dutch and English. The audio tour is also suitable for children.
Do I need to buy my tickets online in advance?
No, you don’t have to. But if you want to be sure of a spot, buy your ticket(s) in advance online. Is that not possible? Then you can also go to the Muiderslot ticket office. Note: for some activities and major events, tickets may be sold out.
Are there surcharges for special activities?
Yes, surcharges may apply for special activities or events.
