Family Theater: Alone in the World

Alone in the World, based on the famous book by Hector Malot. A moving and compelling story about Remi, a little boy who was abandoned. Together with the troubadour Vitalis, Remi travels the world, and they earn their living by entertaining people with their little monkey and three dogs.

During their adventurous journey, they meet many different people. Vitalis teaches Remi that everyone is a little lonely in this world and that, despite setbacks, you can remain open to the richness of life. From Remi’s perspective, theater maker Niels Brandaan Cotterink slips in and out of his role and invites children and adults onto the stage. Together with Remi, the audience experiences a moving journey full of romance and symbolism.
