Family Theatre: Grow!

In a tall apartment, full of balconies and residents, Mr. Hoppe and Mrs. Zilver live. From his balcony, Mr. Hoppe secretly looks down, where Mrs. Zilver lives with her little turtle Rudi. Rudi is small but fine, though Mrs. Zilver dreams of him growing bigger. Mr. Hoppe, madly in love with his neighbor, thinks he can lend a hand. With a magic spell, he makes Rudi seemingly grow … or does it just seem that way?

Grow! is a performance full of wonder about growing bigger, developing yourself and the power of being small. With puppets, music, humor and philosophical questions, the audience is drawn into a tender, recognizable and joyful story for young and old.

The show is performed by Theatergroep Nooitgedacht: Ruben Wetzels and Willemijn Hordijk. They combine expressive storytelling theater with live music, homemade puppets and lots of interaction. Their playful style invites children to think along, ask questions and shape the story together. An accessible and inspiring life lesson in which everyone can grow, no matter how big or small you are.
