During the tastings you will get a guided tour of the castle and gardens (weather permitting), followed by a historical tasting.How did castle dwellers used to cook and what did they eat? What did the poor eat, what did the rich eat? How were the herbs from the garden used? What culinary stories do the paintings in the castle tell? And what was actually drunk with food?

During thistasting tells the castle chef everything about the food culture at the Muiderslot. And each season a different theme is presented. Please note: this programme is in Dutch.
