Celebrate the start of summer during the Midsummer Picnic at Muiderslot! From 6:00 PM onward, our gates will be open for a cheerful summer evening!

Settle down in the castle gardens or the plum orchard, bring your own picnic, and enjoy a relaxing summer evening with friends and family. Meanwhile, live music sets the mood. This year, Klezmagic will be performing: an energetic Amsterdam-based band that blends Balkan, klezmer, and their own influences into an exhilarating mix. With rhythmic beats, brass, and strings, they know exactly how to get everyone moving.

In our museum café De Tuinkamer, a variety of drinks is available. Take a seat, listen, eat, and enjoy — this is midsummer at its best!
