Accessibility Advisors

They know better than anyone how to make a museum more accessible. Among other things, they are testing the castle, the audio tour, and the website, and providing us with advice on accessibility for people with, for example, a mild intellectual disability or autism. In collaboration with them, we’re exploring how we can make the Rijksmuseum Muiderslot more accessible, step by step.

During Accessibility Week, they’ll serve as museum docents for a day. They’ll be waiting for you at the castle to show you their favorite spots, share their experiences, and answer all your questions.
