Easter weekend

There’s plenty to do for the whole family over the Easter weekend. Put on your coat, head outside, and join our fun Easter egg scavenger hunt around the grounds. You can also get creative in the Castle Workshop, where you’ll decorate your own Easter branch—a true spring tradition. That way, you’ll go home with a beautifully decorated Easter branch full of homemade eggs. Or pull up a chair at the coloring table to make a cheerful Easter drawing (for the littlest ones). In the small workshop, you can make a spring flower and stick it in the grass.

In short: great outdoor play and crafts in the workshop. A perfect combination for a festive Easter outing with the whole family.

Bonus: On Sunday, April 5, the show “The Pied Piper of Hamelin” will be performed in the castle’s Chapel. It’s a humorous show full of music and stories, narrated by master storyteller Eric Borrias. For €5, you can secure a spot at this fun show!

Scavenger hunt: The birds have lost their eggs
The birds around Muiderslot Castle have lost their eggs… Can you find them? Go on a scavenger hunt along the dike surrounding the castle and discover all sorts of things about the birds, plants, and animals in the castle gardens along the way. Have you found all the eggs? Then a little surprise awaits you.

Creative in the castle studio
In the studio, you can get creative. Decorate a beautiful Easter branch with colorful eggs, bake delicious Easter cookies, or pull up a chair at the coloring table for a cheerful Easter drawing (for the very little ones). In the small studio, you can make a spring flower and stick it in the grass.
