Who we are.

The Muiderslot is not just any workplace. It is one of the oldest castles in the Netherlands, a national museum, a national crowd puller full of history, culture and atmosphere. More than 165,000 visitors a year come here for a unique day out, and the hospitality industry plays an important role in that. From a good cup of coffee to a sunny terrace moment overlooking the moat and gardens. We provide a welcoming experience.

What will you do?

Hospitality is an important part of the experience. In our atmospheric museum café, The Garden Room – an attractive café with 45 seats and a view of the castle – visitors enjoy fresh coffee, homemade pastries and healthy lunches. We also cater for parties, group bookings and
events.

Whether you are preparing sandwiches, serving coffee or keeping the store and restaurant tidy: as a catering assistant, your smile and commitment make the difference for our visitors. You provide a warm welcome and smooth service, contributing to an unforgettable experience for our visitors.
