Filming location

Professionals

To be considered for filming (documentaries & commercial) at the Muiderslot, a number of criteria must be met.

An application can be made by (inter)national media, partners and relations of the Muiderslot.
By this we do not mean:
- Politically related items;
- Commercial productions in which the Muiderslot serves only as a backdrop;
The film and/or photo production contributes to the reputation of the Muiderslot with regard to the spearheads of the current policy, its surroundings, the collection, and/or the expertise of the staff.
Shooting with a drone should always be coordinated at least 8 weeks in advance.

Visitors

As a visitor, you may film and photograph in the museum. However, there are the following conditions attached to this:

You may not use lighting or other large props.
The equipment is of hand-held format.
Drones are not allowed.
If other visitors are not a nuisance.
The material is for your own use.

Request

Turnaround time for film/photo requests is a minimum of eight working weeks and depends on the needs of the film production. Film requests from current events programs, presentations and news items have priority.
