Taking wedding photos in a real castle. Behind the gates of Rijksmuseum Muiderslot, ancient walls, quiet corridors and green gardens form the backdrop for the most beautiful wedding photos.
Two arrangements
During a photo shoot of one or one and a half hours, you will photograph with your own photographer, inside and outside the castle. An employee of the Muiderslot will guide you and point out the most beautiful and special places. There are two arrangements.
Package 1: photographing in castle and garden
- Time total of 1.5 hours
- Maximum of 5 people, including bride and groom and their own photographer.
- Rate: 500 euros.
Package 2: photographing only in the gardens.
- Time total of 1 hour
- Maximum of 5 people, including bride and groom and their own photographer.
- Rate: 350 euros.
General information
- The time slot you reserve is when you enter. From the time of entry, the time taken applies, for example, 1.5 hours.
- Reservations for a time slot can be made between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m.
- Without a reservation and showing the confirmation letter at the box office and payment upon arrival, we unfortunately cannot allow a wedding couple access to the grounds.
- Free cancellation is possible up to 8 business days before the reserved date. After that we will charge the full cost.
- Parking on the grounds of the Muiderslot is unfortunately not possible. Check the parking facilities.

Tips
- Put on easy shoes; the medieval castle has many steps and uneven cobbles on the grounds.
- The wedding car will remain outside the castle gates.
- The photographer takes a hand-held camera, not a tripod.
- Unfortunately, there is no locker room available.
- Drones and dogs are not allowed.
Note!
- However, the museum is open to visitors as usual. So you have no exclusive right to the chosen locations within the Muiderslot. Of course, we will help you manage the flow of visitors as well as possible during the photo opportunity.
