In our attractive museum café, The Garden Room, visitors enjoy fresh coffee, homemade pastries and healthy lunches. We are looking for a hospitality supervisor who will manage the hospitality team with overview, calmness and pleasure and guard the hospitality.

During your shift, you will be the point of contact for the hospitality team. You ensure that everyone knows what needs to be done, that service runs smoothly and that the atmosphere remains good.

What will you do?

Hospitality is an important part of the experience. In our atmospheric museum café, The Garden Room, visitors enjoy fresh coffee, homemade pastries and healthy lunches. The warm welcome makes their day complete. During your shift, you make sure that everyone knows what needs to be done, that service runs smoothly and that the atmosphere remains good. And all in one of the most beautiful places in the Netherlands.

Your duties at a glance:

You make sure that everything is well prepared: from startup to closing.
You monitor service, atmosphere and cooperation during the day.
You take care of the financial processing (cash register, daily statement).
You will assist with catering, hiring and events.
You oversee order, hygiene and safety (HACCP).
You will think about improvements in assortment and working methods.
You support and motivate colleagues during busy times.

Het museumcafe de Tuinkamer heeft grote ramen en een glazen dak. De ruimte is ingericht met houten tafels en stoelen.

You:

Has experience in the hospitality industry, such as in service or kitchen.
Enjoys working with people and has an eye for quality.
Are welcoming, articulate, sociable and practical.
Has overview, takes responsibility and thinks in solutions.
Speaks good Dutch and English.
Are flexibly available: on weekdays, weekends and vacations.

Salary between €2,511 and €2,911 gross per month (Museum CLA, scale 3, based on 36 hours).
Vacation allowance (8%), year-end bonus (3.4%) and travel allowance.
OV 2nd class is fully reimbursed, including OV bicycle Weesp-Muiden.
Free admission to the Muiderslot.
Opportunity to take hospitality training courses.
