Those who think that there is no connection between Muiderslot Castle and the rest of the world are wrong. For centuries, traces of the Islamic world for instance have been found in and around the castle. What about tulips, carpets, merchandise or plants with an Arabic origin? There is a lot to discover and we are especially interested in hearing stories from visitors! That is why we are organising regular interactive tours East meets West in April 2022.Â
