In October 2021, special attention is paid to work in and around the castle. ‘To Work’ is the theme of the history month, so join us in a special guided tour about work at Muiderslot castle.

Work in the present and the past

A big part of our lives we are working. That’s why often our job becomes part of what defines us, of who we are. In the Middle Ages this was no different. At Amsterdam Castle Muiderslot you can find 700 years of labour. Sometimes the labour is obvious, in other cases you have to look for it. Join our tourguide in a special tour about work at the castle.

Practical information

  • Tours start at 11:00, 13:00 and 15:00.
  • Costs are 5 euros per person (entry ticket not included).
  • Capacity is limited, so make sure to book in time.
  • The guided tour is given in Dutch, by a bilingual tourguide.
