Hooftpodium

Did you know that the Muiderslot is the oldest stage in the Netherlands? Since the 17th century, performances and concerts have regularly taken place in the castle. We cherish this tradition. Every last Sunday of the month, there are free performances for all visitors to the Muiderslot. Keep an eye on the website for the current program.

Muiderslot in collaboration with the ZID theater presents the performance HISTORIA. HISTORIA is the first dance solo by choreographer and dancer Issam Zemmouri. With strong poetic images and in an energetic dance language Zemmouri tells about a personal journey. A journey that stretches across the Mediterranean between different cultures, languages and civilizations. In this journey, past, present and future, the search for liberation is central.

This edition of ‘Hooftpodium’ is especially programmed for the Pride Amsterdam 2022.

Practical information

• The performance will take place in the Knight’s Hall at 1:00 pm and at 2:00 pm.
• It lasts about half an hour
• These performances are free for anyone with a valid entrance ticket.
