When Sinterklaas is in the Netherlands, he always stays at the Muiderslot. He invites all children to his castle and hopes to greet them in person on weekends.

All the doors of Sinterklaas’ castle will be open and there will be plenty to do and see: circus puppets, music, baking ginger nuts and, of course, you can also come and pet Sinterklaas’ horse. On weekdays from 18 November to 3 December 2023, the Castle of Saint Nicholas will also be open, but without Saint Nicholas and his entourage.

Practical info:

  • During weekends, a surcharge of 3,- euro applies to the regular entrance prices.
  • Tickets must be booked in advance.
  • Sinterklaas is present at the castle only on weekends.
  • On weekdays, Sinterklaas is not present.
