From June 17th until August 1st 2021 Amsterdam Castle Muiderslot is hosting pop-up restaurant ‘De Maaltuin.’ Experience the rich history of the surroundings, while tasting a great 4 course menu and enjoying music, the castle and the beautiful gardens…

Sweet and Salty

Amsterdam Castle Muiderslot has many faces. The castle functioned (among other things) as a tollbooth, a brewery and was a defense work. Through the years, the castle was inhabited, occupied, under siege, demolished and rebuilt. During this edition of the pop-up restaurant you will discover more than 700 years of history at the waterside, while enjoying a night full of yummy dishes.

It will be a ‘walking dinner’ through castle and gardens. Every dish or/ad drink will be served in another special spot. Everthing will be organized within applying corona measures. Reserving your spot is obliged.

Tip: wear comfy shoes and bring a coat and face mask (inside when moving around, wearing a face mask is mandatory. Of course, not whilst eating ;).

• De Maaltuin takes place on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays, from Thursday 17 June until Sunday August 1st 2021  (except. 9, 10 and 11 July).
