On October 29 & 30 2022, Halloween weekend, Amsterdam Castle Muiderslot opens the gates to a dark and spooky castle. During this night, you will learn more about the dark history of the castle.

Haunted Castle during Halloween

The history of Amsterdam Castle Muiderslot is not all positive: there has been blood, murder and torture. The Halloween tour tells these stories during this night. Who knows what the building will do to you… One thing is sure, this evening is no place for small children.

After the tour, you can catch your breath at the pop up cafe.

Practical information

  • During this weekend, we follow the rules and measures of the coronaprotocol for museums.
  • This evening, you can visit the castle with a guide. The tours start from the museum cafe with a welcome drink. English tours are at 20:00 and 21:30 hrs.
