In 1672, known in the Netherlands as the Year of Disaster, the country was defended using a unique weapon; water! For example, from Amsterdam Castle Muiderslot, orders were given to breach the dikes between Muiden and Muiderberg to stop the enemy. But Rijksmuseum Muiderslot has known more disasters. During this guided tour ‘What a disaster’ you will learn all about these disasters.
