Imagine this: it’s a beautiful summer day and you’re in the mood for an adventurous time at the castle grounds of the Muiderslot! With binoculars around your neck and a drawing pad under your arm, you’re ready to explore the castle gardens. You’ll see an abundance of colorful (edible) plants and flowers. The museum guide will answer all your questions during this ‘garden safari’.
You’re sure to see all kinds of critters scurrying around among the flower beds and under the bushes. It seems like there is something new to discover around every corner. And it’s not just the surroundings that make you happy, but also the thrill of doing research. All in all, this exploration of the Muiderslot will definitely stick with you as a cool experience!
- The garden safari is suitable for children ages 6 to 11. This activity is only for children, parents/guardians can enjoy a walk around the castle or relax in our museum cafe.
- There’s a surcharge of €5,- per child, excluding the regular entrance ticket.
- The garden safari takes about an hour.
- Language: Dutch!
