Lovely pop up dinner

From July 30 to August 30 2020, the castle gardens of Muiderslot will host pop-up restaurant ‘De Maaltuin.’ Experience the rich history of the surroundings, while tasting a great 4 course menu and enjoying music and the beautiful gardens…

Edible history

Over the years, the castle gardens have been used to provide food for many inhabitants and guests of the castle. The edible crops, flowers and medicinal herbs provide inspiration for the menu. Before enjoying your dinner, you will walk around the ramparts of the fortress and hear more about 700 years of history of castle and gardens.

Dining outside

The castle gardens of Amsterdam Castle Muiderslot offer more than enough space for a corona-proof dinner in nature. Separate tables for two to four people are spread widely throughout the garden, so you can enjoy your own company without any worries.
