Hooftpodium: dance performance

Did you know that Muiderslot Castle is the oldest stage in the Netherlands? Ever since the 17th century, performances and concerts have regularly taken place in the castle. We cherish this tradition. Every last Sunday of the month there are free performances for all visitors to the Muiderslot. 

In May we have again invited a special performer: the dancer Devika Chotoe.

About Devika Chotoe

Devika is currently based in Amsterdam and will graduate from the School for New Dance Development (SNDO) in 2022. In addition to her graduation, she is also a research fellow at “If I Can’t Dance I Don’t Want To Be Part of Your Revolution” (AMS). In addition to her artistic endeavors, she contributes to community work and activism through foundations and organizations that focus on the LGBTQIA+ communities of color in the Netherlands.
