Kids: illustration workshop

What does your ideal house look like? Does it look a bit like Amsterdam Castle Muiderslot? And how do you make a book? And how do you combine the two? Floor Rieder, Illustrator, explains, reads and gives a crash course in illustration! Will you come to the castle to draw your own dream castle?

Floor Rieder is an award-winning Dutch illustrator. She studied at the art academy ArtEZ. In 2013 Floor illustrated the book ‘The riddle of everything that lives’ and won the Golden Brush. A year later she drew the graceful world of ‘Alice in Wonderland’ which won an international award. Her latest book is inspired by the garden of the Rijksmuseum: ‘The Secret of the Garden’. She teaches children to illustrate in a fun way.

• This workshop for kids starts at 12.00 and 14.00 hrs.
