May holiday: kids are the boss!

During the May holidays from 1 to 9 May 2021, kids are in charge of the Muiderslot. “Junior guides” are giving free corona proof performances in the castle this week. They take on the role of former residents and their children. During the holiday there are also activities such as garden safaris, and creative workshops in the attic atelier.

Activities and workshops

During the May holidays, “junior guides” give free guided tours of the castle every day. These guides are students from group eight of the primary schools in Muiden and Muiderberg. They take on the role of former residents, their children and visitors to the castle. The children are trained at school and throw themselves into their task with great enthusiasm. During the May holiday, there are also other activities, such as garden safaris, children’s theatre and creative workshops. So keep an eye on the agenda!
