Knights’ Weekend

On 22 and 23 October 2022 real medieval knights will be staying at Muiderslot castle. The whole weekend there will be music both inside and outside, cooking (and tasting), fighting and making amends. There is much to see and especially much to do. Read more about it here.

‘Oysters and Lemons’
Grab your chance this autumn vacation and come discover Louise te Poele’s contemporary still lifes in the castle. During a special audio tour she will tell you more about the stories behind the still lifes and the relationship with Muiderslot castle. More information.

Amsterdam Birthday
Hurray! It’s Amsterdam’s birthday and it turns 747 years old. But…why do we celebrate it at the Muiderslot? Find out during free tours of the ‘Castle of Amsterdam’ on 27 October 2022. Then you’ll know why this name isn’t so strange after all… Put your party hat on already! Advance booking for these tours is not necessary.

Halloween
On the weekend of Halloween – 30 and 31 October 2022 – there are tours through a dark castle…. No ghosts and vampires, but the dark side of the Muiderslot and dark events from the past are revealed. The castle can only be visited this evening with a guide. The tours are only suitable for people with a strong stomach and not for children under 13.
